我們學習英語的目的，就是為了能夠與別人進行交流。所以英語口語幾要素的重要次序應為：流利——準確——恰當。怎樣練好口語，首先得理解你聽到的內容，其次得表達你想說的內容。
以下有幾點小建議，準備MPAcc復試的同學們不妨一試。
首先，選擇好合適的讀物。
練習口語一定要有書，一開始當然得選擇簡單點的短篇讀物。大家可以去圖書館搜集英漢對照的故事書，更具趣味性，最好附帶小磁帶。
其次，大量漢譯英練習。
先對照著中文部分，嘗試著用英語逐句口譯出來（旁邊錄個音）。譯完一小段后，看自己的口譯與書上的翻譯和磁帶里的語音有和差距。這個過程進展會非常慢，需要長期大量的練習。而隨著練習的深入，你會發現你的翻譯水平會大大提高。
然后，聽譯練習。
可以組一個興趣小組，最好在線進行聽力、翻譯、口語于一體的實戰訓練。一個人說英語，一個人說中文，再一個人充當翻譯。
最后，口語作文。
這就回歸到了英語面試上。先找好一個主題，然后進行口語作文。開始會比較難，時間可以稍短一點。平時練習時，內容是不怕多的，面試時，最可怕的則是冷場。所以隨著逐漸熟練與強化，口語作文的時間也要延長。另外，不要忘了錄音。
